Joseph Ord - Commercial Real Estate Agent

Joseph Ord joined
Lechner Realty Group in November 2007, after a successful career as a Flight Test Engineer with the Boeing Company. In 2008
Joe Ord quickly established himself as an exceptional new agent in the St. Louis Commercial Real Estate Market as Joe amassed a
Commercial Property Listing Inventory worth more than $13 Million. Some of Joe Ord's Clients include
Amco Ranger,
Arch Interim Housing and
$29.99 Shoe Warehouse.
Not All Real Estate
Joe Ord is an excellent Commercial Real Estate Agent, but he would be nothing without the love and support of his family.

Joe was lucky enough to meet his wife, Sanja in 2005 and they were married in February 2006. Sanja, by all accounts, is the brightest of the married couple, yet she whole heartedly supported Joe's decision to leave a cushy job at Boeing and start a new career in Commercial Real Estate. Sanja works at
Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, and she is studying for the LSAT in June 2009 and plans to attend law school in 2010.
Joe and Sanja had Allyson Michelle (Ally) in March 2007. Allyson is keeping the young couple on their feet and making sure that they know who's boss: ALLY!!!
Joe Ord in St. Louis
Joe is originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa. Growing up Joe was always good with numbers, and decided to pursue an Engineering Education. In 1998 Joe moved to St. Louis to attend
Saint Louis University, where he majored in Aerospace Engineering. In 2002 he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and accepted a job as a Flight Test Engineer for
Boeing IDS. Joseph Ord moved to Maryland to work on the F/A-18EF Super Hornet. After two years Joe decided to find his way back to his Midwestern roots and return home to
St. Louis, Missouri. Actually this time Joe settled in Saint Charles and went to work on the
Small Diameter Bomb program. Joseph Ord is extremely proud of the work he did at Boeing on the F/A-18EF and Small Diameter Bomb programs, but by the end of 2007, Joe's entrepreneurial spirit got the better of him and he decided it was time for him to follow his dream and go into business for himself.
Why Leave? Why Commercial Real Estate?
Joseph wants to be perfectly clear that the Boeing Company is a truly great American company and an excellent employer. Boeing and its employees are a truly great asset to the St. Louis community. Joe grew up in a family business and has always wanted to be in business for himself. When Joe left Boeing to join Lechner Realty Group, it was the beginning of the realization of a lifelong dream of his. So why Commercial Real Estate? and Real Estate in 2008? Joe's answer is "Why not Commercial Real Estate?" Joe has always had an interest in investing and an interest in Real Estate, but never had the means to buy investment property for himself, so becoming a Commercial Real Estate Agent seemed like a logical place to start Joseph Ord's business career. Why start now, doesn't Joe listen to the news? Yes Joe listens to the news, but gives little credence to the broadcasters, because although there is no denying the current recession, there are still a lot businesses doing very well and investors who still want to put money into our economy. There are still a lot of wonderful opportunities for great Commercial Property deals, one just has to work a little harder to find them. As your Commercial Real Estate Agent, that is a challenge Joseph Ord is willing to accept.
